The Smart Tools for Efficient HVAC Performance Campaign (STEP Campaign) is a recognition and guidance program designed to help contractors, utilities and energy efficiency organizations, weatherization agencies, and others to advance the use of smart diagnostic tools. The STEP Campaign aims to significantly increase use of smart diagnostic tools by residential HVAC technicians and others that may install, commission, service, or inspect residential HVAC equipment. The STEP Campaign also focuses on providing access to key technical resources, best practices guides, case studies, utility incentive programs, and independent assessment of available smart diagnostic tools. This form is intended for the recognition process for STEP Campaign Partners who demonstrate exemplary performance in advancing the use of smart diagnostic tools.
